There is no disputing that Wham! made the "Choose Life" t-shirts an 80s icon - but where did they come from? Your British friends are probably much more familiar with its history.

British Fashion Designer and Political Activist. "Choose Life" was an Anti-Nuclear War statement. Everyone in the UK would have been familiar with that movement, including George Michael, Andrew Ridgeley, and Queen's Roger Taylor - who all wore her shirts. Taylor also wore her "Worldwide Nuclear Ban Now" shirt at the historic Rock In Rio festival in 1985.
